Key Ingredients Benefits

Elderberry:

Helps fight inflammation, enhances immune system function and soothes the upper respiratory. It is very effective against flu and cold viruses by it's ability to inhibit viral replication. It contains a litany of healthful properties (including antioxidants, tannins, vitamins A, B, and C, flavonoids ... and more phosphorus and potassium than other temperate fruit) which help strengthen the immune system. It's best known for knocking out the flu right when it starts, so it's important to take it immediately upon having symptoms.

Burdock Root:

For centuries, traditional healers have recommended the use of burdock root to fight the common cold, sore throats, and other ailments. Scientific research now provides some insight into how burdock may fight infections.

Some studies have found that it has antibacterial qualities. Burdock root has high levels of vitamin E and vitamin C. Both vitamins are good antioxidants that rid the body of oxygen free radicals. This helps improve the function of the immune system.

Astragalus:

Adaptogen-which means that it helps restore the body to normal function, particularly during times of stress

Research shows that it helps reduce both the frequency and intensity of the common cold.

It is clinically shown to increase the number of white blood cells, which are our fighter cells when the body is facing an illness.

Rosehips:

Contains Vitamin C and Zinc which are crucial to help fight free radical damage, aids in proper cell replication and immune support.

Proprietary Grenadian Spice Blend:

Directly from the Island of Spice, this blend of spices have anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties that may help to relieve pain and maintain the reduction of colds and the flu.
